Set Grid & snap to

0.125 snap
12 m grid
Sub-Unit snapping on
(make it possible to use half your grid, VERY handy at aligning things to avoid cracks)

Make a prim, edit it and zoom;

VERY close to prim;
0,0625 ; wich is correct

Normal range you get;
0.125 ; wrong, wheres the 0.0625 ?, at normal zoom ESPECIALLY with toruses/round prims its imposssible to see anything, and so not usefull when you want to align them as they wont go to well with the snap you have unless its 1/4 of it then it usually align 100% up

Further out , snap goes to;
0.250 ; -.- "#=)%"#=&;()"#&;(

Yes i know this will make alooot of small lines to actually show it when its further out, what happend to the old way it used to work?

Not to sure on this issue.

I have subunit snap on at 0.5 and the closer you zoom it it should keep halving the units. 0.25, .125, 0.063, 0.031, and so on. it round to s 3 place persicion but does not actually snap to the rounded number but the actuall number such as 0.063 will be 0.0625.

Will have to check this out tonight.

okay so the smallest subunit snap is 0.01, so if you have it set to .500. the smallest it will go to is 0.015625 which is a 1/64. becasue the next step is 1/128 which is smaller than the 0.01. It does seem to be working correctly
