How come I cannot buy land clearly marked for sale by the lindens?

How come I cannot buy land clearly marked for sale by the lindens on the preview grid? I know it says "no land, no currency" but there is currency, fake currency, where is my fake land damit! I made me some Lz and want to spend em' on land, but I can't! THOU some of my friends have land that they paid for... whats going on now??

512m plots for sale? I cannot buy? I cannot test tools? I am pissed. Well anyways, other then that, this is one of the best updates for SL, besides the fact that there is no lag there.

If you're not in that situation, then I suspect that it is lack of tier that is doing it
