Well, I uninstalled and downloaded 1.12, now I get wrong login errors.

Preview 1.12 is up.
The preview grids use member lists that are a bit out of date. Your account may be too new to be able to access the preview grid.

And I had no problem with an alt on the former preview and she is even younger, early July. She couldn't get in because of the "maintenance" on 1.11, after getting on before... *shrug* |

Did you change your password since the cutoff date?
The preview grids don't always have the same cutoff date. The Aditi preview cutoff is July 19th, but the Siva preview cutoff was July 25th. Not that that explains what the problem you are having is.
What is the exact error message that you get?

The Siva grid is just not running now, as of a few hours ago. The down for maintenance message doesn't mean your system is having a problem, and it doesn't mean it's down for just a little while.

No, I haven't changed my password.
I know they have different cutoff dates, but the alts was a lot closer to it than my main (Io).
The first error I got was on Shiva, with the alt that had been on before, it wasn't really an error, just the "down for maintenance" msg all day long.
Then I downloaded Aditi, tried to log on as my main, Io, and got an error about my login/password being inocorrect. Tried the alt, same msg. Just tried again, "down for maintanence" msg now.

I hope the thing stays down...it causes nothing but problems and is a playground for the linden scriptors and programmers to see what else they can mess up

The lastest Preview 1.12.0(9) is up and running in the Siva grid now. The cutoff join date for this grid is now August 11th. The Aditi grid is still up, but it has an older version, 1.12.0(  . They are both running right as I type. I'm not sure what the significance of having the two different versions available is. I somehow managed to log in balanced standing on the overhead cable for the cable car in Miramare.

I was able to get both my main and my alt on the latest Shiva.  What is the money situation, they used to give a lot, now it's weird, like they added $200 to my main grid balance once, then nothing at all, then seemed to double it....? |
