Got this, all 3 times, crashed within minutes of logging in. Tried different graphics options (like VBO, etc on/off) none had any effect.

Most options have been and are set stock otherwise....

Dunno if I did this right, but I created a JIRA issue on this, there is no version 1.16.0 to assign this to yet....

I logged in, and say big prim-rays shooting out of the welcome area building, and a giant undulating shape, then SL crashed.

Remove any flexible prims your wearing for now. The glitches and crashing is a known issue.

New password not working in Beta; crash on log in
05-04-2007 20:26
I changed my password as May is password month and I'm so good!
The regular viewer is accepting my new password but Beta 1.16.0 is only accepting the old one.

Crashes to desktop after loading. Same as the above in terms of look.

Want to help you test so if I gotta go in bald, so be it.

Considering the defining points of the new avatar I made contain flexiprims, that's not a solution I'm happy with. >.>

Addendum:
And now that I've crashed the first time, I can't even get back in to the beta grid. -.-;
I hope you guys will be in tomorrow to fix that crash issue, missing two days of testing from the majority of your population because they logged in with flexi-hair or are furries with flexiprims worked into their avatars is unacceptable. Not to mention I wanna sculpt!

Well...how could I remove those prims attachment if I instant crashed on login anyway??

In addition to that, in my alt, when I try to create a sculpt prim, it is also instant crash when the prim appeared: Instant Crash this time = SL Viewer just gone (No Sending Crash Log window)

Hi

I've just posted an update for the pc client as of Friday 11:30pm PDT, which is just a fix for a crash and graphic issues with flexiprims, It is labeled as the same 1.16.0.0 so when it asks to overwrite, agree, it can be downloaded from http://secondlife.com/community/preview.php

It still crashes but the odd notable glitch being the prims on my kitsune avatar resize themselves automatically then the client crashes with crash logger.

It's not a bad chip, I'm semi-stuck with mine because I have a 939 board, waiting to get a AM2 board later this year. Any dual-core is better than no dual-core at this point.

I'm crashing every 5-10 and sometimes 20 minutes on the beta grid, still got the mysterious attachment shrink problem even with the newly uploaded version.

I had a 939 MB and that AMD 4400 110 Watts lasted me 6 months before my MB HDD and DDR burntup. i had alot of problems with that CPU. It was nice but I did not want deal with problems anymore. If you can upgrade to the AM AMD. Its stronger and faster. Also the newer AM CPU(s) are getting cheaper. I pickup a 6000+ for about in US monies $25?.??. or 29,9?? yen. I just did not want ti build another computer yet ( Dec I start it ). In My RL i need to address a personal issue that does not allow me to problem solve the 4400 AMD problem. So i just went out send reseaonalbe amount and upgarded 70% of the computer.

Just tried the Beta Grid.

Only 1 question so far: Can we do Sculpted Prims OTHER than bananas, apples, mushrooms, etc??

I cant think thats all there is going to be. Would be nice if we all knew HOW the sculpted prims work exactly. Its probably mentioned elsewhere, but I'm too tired to go look ATM.

This did indeed seem to fix the bizzarro thing going on in my screenie I posted, but I'm still crashing every couple of minutes, so still a no go.

Voice is also pointless to use, as it's not fexible enough to direct what system sound devices (ie. alternate sound card) in my system that I require it to use, and to prevent the mixing of all system sounds with it. This is also a no go. I'm not gonna try and hear SFX, Music/Video, and SL voice all in my headset at the same time, sorry.

Mine does the exact same thing. I have downloaded this version three times and still can't even stay in beta long enough to file a report.

It may be an incompatibility with Nvidia? I'm using a 6800 and i am also crashing moments upon logging on. Making the testing of sculpt textures impossible

Good news is that the exporter they provided for maya is pretty spot on, for the sculpt textures i did get to upload and use.

Anyone else crashing 18-20 times an hour like me? I can't do anything too complicated on the grid other than walk (even then it's possible to crash) without crashing.
