Can't open 1.12.3(2) of the Mac client

I'm using a PPC PowerMac and OSX Tiger with GeForce6800 Ultra.
When I start Second Life 1.12.3(2), the screen in the window is broken like this and it hangs up. I could not help but force it to exit.

1.12.3(3) was the same.
When I tried to start the current version (1.12.2(9)) of SL next time, the crashing report was popped up and I sent it.
I'm afraid that they release it tommorow. Is it only me that encountered this problem?

On the first time I did a fresh install of 1.12.3.3 on a MacBookPro and don't even get that screen shot you posted. Just a black screen with the "The application Second Life quit unexpectedly." and the spinning beach ball of death.

Then installed one more time. Which it did work the second time. But now I can;t get it to not work.

I wonder what "a fresh install" means. I just downloaded it, extracted it, and double clicked to start it. Did you uninstall (or deleted completely) the (old) current version's one?
The difference of screen may be because of the difference of the video card. I guess you should have suffered from the same trouble as mine.

But did you say that it worked when you installed it again?
What does the install you mentioned means?
Did you download it again?
Did you just extract the archived file you'd already downloaded?
Did you try to start it again?

yes a fresh install I mean by deleted the current install version Vesion of Second Life Aditi. Download a new copy. and install that one. and yes you will loose your settings

What I do find annoying after you install the Preview version there is no good quick way to tell which version you are about to run the Beta or Main Grid version as both are call SecondLife.app. Same goes for PC but they install in there own folders. The downloaded Install files have no indication they are beta version. I usually put then in their own folders so I can keep things straight. I have given up on the auto update, especially for preview. Because what ever the probelm is on their end they always set the switch for a new update before teh new update is posted so you get in this loop of downloading an old version all the time.

I've never tried autoupdate for the preview client. I always put it on the desktop. Both of them used to be worked until 1.12.3(2).
Ok, if this problem was because of the collision against the current version, the release version would be able to work. Thank you.

Yes, I've made sure that the relased version works. I'll try clean install unless the next preview works. Thank you.
