Special Announcement: Economy and new Avatars are Coming
The Virtual World of Kaneva is about to enter an exciting new phase. In May, we will be launching our Economy! This means that you will be able to personalize your 3D life even more by purchasing hundreds of new items and upgrades. We'll also introduce many new features -- including new avatars and fun things to do in-world.
As we prepare for our economy to go live, there are three improvements we would like to tell you about:
Purchasing Credits. Soon, you will be able to acquire hundreds of new items, clothes, furniture and homes by purchasing extra Credits online anytime you want. The new Buy Credits system will be unveiled within the next month. Kaneva will still be free to use, of course and the purchase of Credits is entirely optional.
Getting Reward Credits. Before we launch our Buy Credits feature, we will be introducing another Reward Credits. Reward Credits (RCs) will be given to all new players as starter cash to help pay for initial in-world purchases. We will also award RCs as incentives for Stress Tests, special events, and contests. RCs are tied to each member and ...
Cannot be used to buy items from others.
Are used to buy items from stores.
Items purchased with RC’s cannot be traded or sold to other members
Exchange Rate Change. Items in the Virtual World will soon be repriced to reflect our new Credit system. As this exchange rate is changed, some item prices will go up and some will go down. For example, the popular 56” television, now priced at 4000 Credits, will cost approximately 750 Credits after the rate change.
What does this mean for you?
Your Credit Balance will reflect the new Exchange Rate
Your Credits will become Reward Credits
All your Inventory items will become Non-Transferrable
