Padawans requiring Knights

I thought it would be good to possibly try to use the forum here for some practical purposes. Any New Order Padawan who is looking for a prospective knight can post here, with some basic information.

One note: CLASS is required (i.e. consular, guardian, etc.)

Think of this like a Jedi Holonet. Perspective pairs can then make in game arrangements to meet and cement this OOC connection with actual RP.

I do not intend this thread to replace in-game RP in any way, but as a thread to facilitate the RP.

I'll even start, though I might be the master of the Furry Jedi group, my membership in the New Order is only at a Padawan level and originally a political courtesy towards unified Jedi groups in SL... but if I want to progress in this group I still have to jump through the leadership's hoops. ^_^;

Azlan Perun's choosen class is Consular, though he is a bit more martial then most consulars should ever be... he utilizes Form X Jar'Kai for his primary saber style and does not require any saber training (just needs to get some better fight scripts and less clunkiness in SL). He is also known to practice the martial art Teräs Käsi (Steel hand) from the planet Bunduki.

Azlan seems to have once travelled the path of a dark jedi and recounts tales clearly and vividly with a feel as if the experiences were personally his from times far old and forgotten. He can be an overbearing student, as his knowledge greatly exceeds his position, much patience is required when teaching this one.

Good idea, Azlan! I hope you pair up with a good mentor soon. I understand your position, having been a master for many years on another venue. But, I think it is a very good approach since SL is unique in many ways and help in becoming efficient as a Jedi in SL is would be very useful.

As a side note to padawans looking around, I'm an unpaired knight but I will not be taking a padawan for a few OOC weeks. I took on a huge project in RL unexpectedly and will not be online enough to mentor anyone. So, while I may be in world to RP and practice my own skills, I'm NOT ignoring worthy candidates.

I thought it was a nifty idea, but I appear to be the most active person on this particular part of the forum from the Order. *sigh* Perhaps as time progresses we shall see an upswing in participation here...
