From the part of the movie I saw, it not only looks an amazing place, great atmosphere and build quality, I'm sure it will draw a good crowd.
My comment/feedback on the movie is.... it's too long (9:20). Whilst of a good quality, it tries too hard to show you too much of the build. A Teaser/Trailer would have perhaps been more suited. For the music and voiceover tracks, I don't know what editing programme you use, but most will allow cutting the tracks into segments along the timeline, whereby you can adjust the background track segments volume, to allow the voiceover to shine through and deepen the atmosphere. Overall a commendable project, you are applauded ![]() _____________________

Thanks for the the good words of advice AWM.. I'll have to try a shortened version or just a teaser like you said.. I just left pretty much all the raw video up on that first run through. Also the music I didn't score for the actual movie I did it for the actual maze so it' run also a bit longer. it's the actual music you hear when your walking though.
to answer your question about what programs I used .. I scored the begining parts of the music in garage band and logic then did all the voice overs in protools and did all the sound effects and editing in there as well. Did the video edits really quickly in I movie only because I didn't have a copy of final cut on my laptop when I did this.. now that I have a better computer I might attempt it again.. Stay tuned so I can hopefully get your opinion on the next one.. thanks again. _____________________

Devil's Labrynth Film - Feedback

Hi - I've been there and it is an amazing place - I would never have thought to film my progress through it, so well done!
I think AWM is right about the length - cut it down for a trailer, but maybe re-work the full thing to include a narrative (a tale about an Av trapped after making a bargain with a mysterious stranger, etc.) Good work - if you are looking for a free video editor, try ViseoSpin. hba **** _____________________
