When Hispa was looking for someone to build the ideal fantasy sim for her she was told it couldn't be done. So she learned how to do it herself and amazed us all.

Aglarond is a land surrounded by ocean. It is the home of Dragons, Elves, Drows, Fairies, Dwarves, Mermaids, Panthers, Pirates and more.... It has places for friends and romance, but also for roleplay and combat.

It has a new unique system of underground caves on top of that.

You can visit it at:

Big hugs for all the people who helped by performing in it! Thank you!

Amin --

That is an amazing piece of work. When I started watching it I saw
it was over ten minutes and I thought to myself, well maybe I'll just
watch part of it...but those ten minutes went by fast.

Great editing, and the quality is surprisingly good, having survived
YouTubes generally horrible compression.

Thanks for showing us...

Yes, very impressive quality. It's been a while since I've uploaded anything to Youtube. Have they improved the conversion or is this something you've done, Amin? Also, how did you manage to sneak more than 10mins past their bots?

One suggestion, if you're going to do something long it's usually better to continue a narrative throughout. Maybe something like the unfortunate trials of Captain Jack might have worked in this case.

Thanks.

I have a director's account at youtube, so I'm allowed more than ten minutes. The quality still stinks as much as ever, but I upload high quality to youtube, so when they screw it up it still kind of looks ok. I used a wmv instead of avi, this is a relatively good quality and youtube doesn't seem to screw it up as much as with a divx or anything.

I totally agree with the narrative remark. There simply wasn't enough time, but please notice that I called this one Aglarond 1, so watch out for more. :)

Outstandig work, Amin. the only thing I could say, apart from the comments here, is that the first minutes of the track that you chose seemed to be asking for slower transitions between shots. After the music gets faster, however, everything runs smoothly.

And the sim is simply amazing, great building work!

I agree, great composition and execution... you seem to have a powerful system judging by the amount or particles seen, have you tried messing with the FlyCam yet?... works really well with a GamePad.
Great Job
