Hi All,

How do i get rid of the voice dot, and the green bar when I am using lip sync?

I can see the UUID for the bars in the debug menu, but I don't want to take them out permanently, I just want to turn them off whilst filming.

Thanks all :)

Good question. I'd like to know that, too. I wish it would disappear when we do the command to "Hide the UI". I already have a checklist of things to hide, before a machinima shoot, so anything that makes the checklist shorter would be welcome, too.

Not sure what you mean. I don't see white voice when I do ctl -alt-f1. Maybe client difference -- I am using win client with viewer 1.20.15. Never seen green bar

When I use Ctrl+Alt+F1, it removes everything like chat bars (green bars), white dots, names, groups even hovering text.

Aha, I found it. I deleted my earlier post, because I was mistaken.

You are correct, Thinkerer and AWM. I found that, on the Mac version, the key command is Cmd-Alt-1 (aka "Apple-Option-1";). It definitely removed the dot over another player's head, in the 1.19 client and a later RC version on a different Mac.

Thanks!

I can never ever get the interface to disappear using those keystrokes. I am on a mac, and when I do that I get a zoom option.

I feel seriously noobed, and have no idea what I am doing wrong!

Sorry for being thick!

Is it a laptop? Maybe the problem is with the settings for Function keys. A Mac laptop lets you decide whether the F keys are used with Mac default settings, or usable by your applications instead.

Example: F10 is set to show "Application Windows" in the Mac's Exposé settings, but it's also the key for making the display brighter. So that's why there's a preference in the Keyboard & Mouse prefs to change the way the F keys work.

Could that be the problem? Perhaps, when you do CMD-ALT-F1, the Mac isn't using F1 the way you'd prefer.

BTW, I found that using the CMD key or the CTRL key works with this shortcut. CTRL-ALT-F1 does the same as CMD-ALT-F1.

What version of the client are you using?
