'ATOMIC AFTERMATH Pictures' goes Second Life

has decided to take advantage of the possibilities
Online Moviemaking is offering.

"We are going to start off with a comic, not a movie though, the title is "Dead Empire"
says ArtificialArtist, Founder of AT.AF. and creator of 'THE HALOIST Trilogy'.
"The story is quite unique and perfectly translates into the comic media, in fact it wouldn't work as great as it does in still-pictures. We chose the SL-Engine for the creation of all the raw footage, after that it's all post-production and handpainting.... i can't reveal much about the story or process, but it is definetly something very unique."

The Studiolot and Entertainment Area will open in Summer.
The Dead Empire Comics will be available from Fall/Autumn 2007.


Most Questions relating to "THE HALOIST III" weren't answered at the press conference.
"We will get to that Topic in time, it is way too early to give a statement other than 'it will definetly be released in 2008'.... It is correct that we halted production last Summer, but this doesn't mean it's the end of the story.... It is a massive project, the most expensive machinima movie ever, we had to be able to budget this. But as i said, 2008 is the date."

heya!

First, most folks in SL don't like "shotgun" press releases. Come by, introduce yourself, let us get to know you.

Second, your press release wasn't really very clear. How about some links to your website or videos?

Pity you chose to post it in the Machinima section as it is going to be a 2d comic. Also, isn't it a bit early to post in April 2007 for an event that opens in 2008? Is this going to be some political soap opera or exposa?
