Well, I suppose you could move your mouse more slowly, however then you have the problem of jumpiness. Your best bet all round is to get a 3D mouse such as the SpaceNavigator, or a compatible joystick/pad and use the clients flycam option. This will give you total control with a bit of practise.

using alt-arrows.....its the arrow that moves be around the object we want to film and I dont see how I can slow down the speed of that. there has to be a debug setting or something that controls the speed. maybe I can slow it down in post production....thanks

Haha yes, sorry I'm with you now. I don't know away, if it was me it I would slow it down in post production. Sorry for the misunderstanding
