Has anyone used this before and how does this compare to FRAPS.

Having read throughly the information on the website, it appears to be an all encompassing movie capture, post production suite with extensive tools, however FRAPS is only a screen capture programme, and therefore not truly comparable, no more than a iPod is to a PC.

What I found very exciting is the incorporation of the Flash tools and the actionscript, xml and http potential, none of which are enabled in SL, so superflous at this time. When the time does come, I'll resort to using the Macromedia MX suite I already have, to create each element, but for those that don't have that suite, its probably a cheaper solution.

For screen capture, FRAPS and HyperCam are probably 2 of the best solutions I have found todate.

What you maybe refering to is the 'Snagit' screen capture software supplkied by Camtasia which tries to be just a bit more but the part I have reservations about is the term 'capture a short video' mentioned to much making me think there was some limitation there other than HD space. It retails at $39.95 USD, which is more expensive than FRAPS or HyperCam by some $10USD. http://www.techsmith.com/purchase/default.asp
