My First Machinima

Here is my first machinima and my first posting here in the SL forum. I hope I can learn from all of you and be able to make fun and engaging machinima.

I've been using FRAPS but am having trouble with the voice settings. For some reason I continue to get a feedback loop when I'm recording myself and others inworld even though I use a headset. Can anyone help me try to figure out what I'm doing wrong? I use PC.

Feedback loop is sometimes caused when recording sounds and audio, and your microphone button in SL is open, that will cause an echo of every sound your computer hears because the input changes from Microphone to "What you hear" (speakers). The best thing to do is to dub your own parts in later. Also think about using Skype to record audio, SL Voice is atrocious IMO.

You can get the same effect if you have 'Stereo Mix' enabled in the recording devices. It will 'Mix' any sound, even what you hear.
