Hi guys,
I'd like to shoot a video with my macOS...
Could someone tell me where I can find a software for Mac?
I hope to receive an answer, I really want to send a video to SL Movie Trailer Contest!
Thank you all!!
Steph

As far as I tested, you don't need any external software. I have Mac OS X and there is way you can start capturing a movie directly to your desktop from the top menu's in the SL browser. I am not currently in game but it is one of the first drop downs that contains the words like Start/Stop Video or something to that effect. Check it out next time you are in SL. Also there is some info you can find on the subject if you check the forums, again sorry I don't have the exact link but it shouldn't be hard to do a bit of research to find it.
Hope that helps a bit, since I didn't see any other posts, I thought I would give you what I know. After you have got the .mov file on your desktop, you should be able to use iMovie or other software to do editing. iMovie comes with any new Mac or in the iLife suite sold online from www.apple.com |

There's also Snapz Pro X which is similar to Fraps for Windows. The website says it's not compatible with Intel Macs, but I've used it successfully on mine. I'm using version 2.0.2.
It's $69 to purchase, but it has a free trial period so you can go ahead and try it out. _____________________
