The SpeakEasy Ripoff

I don't know if this is the place to put this and if not, I apologize and would like to have it moved. I know I'm not the only one to have this issue and am only posting this because I don't know what else to do. Perhaps others in the community will have some ideas. Back in November, I purchased for an undisclosed sum approximately 15 screens from Ajirllik Alvarado otherwise known as Speakeasy Media. The deal was for a minimum of 6 months of full movies and porn for my residents. The tv's worked great for 2 months although many of them would recycle after a few minutes and never really worked properly - so much for sl servers - I never questioned Alrillik about this. Just figured someone of them were dupey. However when in January, the movies stopped working completely, I had issues. I never got what I paid for. I messaged him, I sent 2 notecards and no answer. So I'm finally posting this in hopes that some others will see this and pass on my experience and know better than to buy from someone that I feel is nothing but a scam artist. These tv's are advertised as having an update centre - I went to it and of course it didn't work. So i'm left with 14 screens of non-functioning waste.

Any suggestions other than buyer beware?

I can understand your frustration, but under TOS, posting names on the forums will have the post locked, then deleted. Perhaps you should try the VWBB, they have a good record of gainning a resolution to issues such as this.

With regard to the media 'recycling' I assume you mean restarting repeatedly, this is a bandwidth issue, either from the deliver server, and or, the viewers system. If the vast majority of viewers see the media restarting, its would be fair to say, it is the delivery server(s) having insifficient bandwidth. You cannot run 1,000's of viewers streams from a standard web server, there has to be greater bandwidth and burst ram facilities. The OS of the servers, along with the movie formatting must be compatible with and set up correctly to stream multiple viewers with media streams. I hope that answers that issue for you?
