Our group has been working hard for the past 2 months.. creating high quality sets, animations etc all to make a music promotional movie. The results can be seen here http://www.wba-advertising.com/test/wba.htmlhttp://www.vimeo.com/764396http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lY11rkR1I1AOur spearhead is on two fronts. Artists in SL can now have this style of music promotion on their CD's/DVD's when they sell their music, at a very competitive rate, in comparrision to the costs associated with RL productions. RL Artists can have this style of Promotions at a greatly reduced costs. In both cases, the cost to mankind in the way of Reduced Carbon Footprint, is a price we all like and need to save on. We now have all the resources and templates to carryout this style of project.

From: Iridescent Coronet Great, your work is so clean ..... you must have a great set up to get Windlight Ultra to run so well! Like most of my systems, I build them from the ground up to do at least one or more jobs well. I have 3 systems, each for different tasks. The one I use for grabbing footage, allows me to capture at 1600x1200 resolution in uncompressed format. That way I am always editing with the best possible material. It is always going to be harder to edit with lower quaility, in much the same way as trying to work with an enlarged pre-compressed 2d like a JPG. I capture onto a raid bank of 5 SATA II HD's totalling 2.4tb. The ratio of capture is around 1 second = 20mb. This movie resulted in a total of around 400GB with out takes and duplicate scenes, ready for editing. The final movie is around 27mb over 3minutes and 30 seconds giving a low data bit rate. In addition, I setup and check my displays using an industry standard DisplayMate programme, so I render in neutral casts and colour balance. I use the same test sheet in the editing programme to match colour balance when applying masks. Using rounded pixels the final movie, scales up better and remains sharp. The DVD version is ultra sharp although cannot be viewed over the internet. This is a 'SL friendly' version. Glad you liked the movie.
