Machinimator wanted - L$10,000 budget

Hi there,
We're looking for someone to produce an approx. 3 minute film for us, showing the most interesting builds/buildings/places in SL. We want to see examples of well designed and constructed buildings, great use of textures etc. We also need to show examples of RL companies that have built premises in SL. The work of DNA Prototype, Aimee Weber, Barnesworth Anubis etc. would be good examples of the look we need.

No nightclubs full of dancers or 'mature' content, although some scenes showing avatars in the space are fine. We will need to know where each location you shoot at is in SL in case we need to contact the owners.

Camera moves should be as clean and smooth as possible, locked off shots are fine, but we would like to see some movement too. No cross fades as they don't seem to render too well. If you don't have a good camera HUD, such as Filming Path, we will buy you one in addition to the fee.

We need to see at least 2 examples of your work before commissioning this job. Please, please don't take this on if you can't deliver to our deadline of 8th May 2007

This is a non commercial project, and will only be used for our research and as a convenient way to introduce colleagues to SL.

The finished film will need to be uploaded to our server as hinted Quicktime, and the original avi emailed/FTP'd to us. We need the original footage as we have some captioning to add, and also want to experiment with some post production on the film. We will provide the music, or if you have your own, we can discuss using that. You will retain full coyright as author of the film, with the understanding that we may use it for our own research purposes.

NB - fee is L$25,000 not USD. This will be paid in L$, in world. 30% starting deposit.
