ChangHigh Trinity Sisters

I made a movie of the ChangHigh Trinity Sisters Light show. This is one of many shows they have produced around SL, the movie footage was taken from the recent Miss Virtual World 2009 show.

well filmed AWM...a very colourful show and you captured it well...they have some great effects and this is the first I have heard of them, a talented group. I liked your pacing on this one and as always you get great clarity, I was however unable to view the whole piece as it stopped loading a couple times at the half way point...most likely just my current connection though.

Yep that would be the cause... although when I say your connection, that is the route between your system, right down the road, across the sea and onto the data centers where we have our load balancers.. at that point its our connection

I have noticed from our server reports, that the ones on the East Coast of America are suffering more and more, due to node connection packet loss and latencies. In fact, I can get better ping results going right around the world, than jumping across the atlantic.

I have worked with The ChangHigh Trinity Sisters previously, when we did a project for RL Russian TV http://www.wba-advertising.com/russian/russian-event.html this is the SL version, the one supplied to the client was HD TV resolution. We have been asked to do more projects with the ChangHigh Trinity Sisters, which is quite exciting.
All the music is created and supplied by SL artists, along with some talented script writers and animators.

hey, nice work on the Russian one...I like those building shots camming up and giving a sense of size and grandeur...also liked the Lenin bot shot...or maybe some easy work for a camper...lol.....also AWM, thats a long piece of music to work with, fortunately Romantic era music is quite programmatic in style and therefore can work well with imagery, and especially something like the 1812 Overture.

Like any country, the creators of the sim(s) are very proud of their culture and heritage. Choosing the 1812 overture is part of that culture, and as you rightfully say, very rich for using in machinima imagery. Its flowing tempo gave me great opportunity to be expressive between buildings and the action of the show.

The small resolution version doesn't do it the justification of the detail and quality of the content, that the HD version does, but at 8mbps, it won't stream over the internet.
