Hello,
I have been wanting to get a HD Camcorder for some time now. I have gone through reviews and websites about different models.
Does anyone recommend which one I should get? Which one is more reliable and has better video quality. thanks!

hi
i have the Sony HDV HDR-HC1E and it's amazing. the quality is incredible and it's small enough and light enough to take places without it being annoying.

I bought a HC3...
I'm not really too happy, the image is a little fuzzy. it's not what represents HD in my mind.

HD Camcorder for better frame rate
12-12-2006 11:06
Sorry for the somehow related question here... (I've searching on the info but with no conclusion so am really eager to find out.)
If I vidoe capture on to a camcorder, how much is it going to help me to get a better frame rate? I also heard about using Fraps. But I'm a Mac user, so I don't know if iShowU is as good as Fraps. I've been doing my machinima experiments with the built-in camera and recording to an external hard drive, but I would get drop-out frames (I saw my avatar rotating on screen but not in the captured video clip). Or my system is just not good enough for running SL (I have 1.25GHz G4, 512MB RAM, ??? graphic card). Douno?
