I have a collection of movies on my Windows 2003 Server. I would like to be able to show them in world.

I looked but could not find anything dealing with how to set up a quicktime compatible server. Can anyone point me in the right direction please.

Thank you.

Hi there.

I am currently offering 10gb of data transfer a month for US$1. All you need to do for your movie files as far as hosting is to put them on a web server. Once there, your objects in-world will use the SL movie options to play the media from the server. No special servers required.

The only other thing you need to worry about is whether you own land or not. You can only stream video in-world on land you own. Or, if you have an arrangement with another landowner, you could do that to.

Email me if you're interested in the hosting. geuis.teses@gmail.com

I think Blip.tv is the best (they're also free).
