Hi All,

Here's my latest work, a machinima for Second Life musician Winston Ackland.

The song is an original by Winston.

Filmed on an iMac, with a space nav, and Final Cut Express.

Large version is here - cause it's worth the wait while it streams. Please have the sound up, it's a fab song.

Tox did such a wonderful job shooting this video. She was able to help director Sesi Ackland realize Sesi's vision for the song. Very much a collaborative effort. For my part, I sat on poseballs a lot and walked when told to.

Congrats to both of you...its a great video...I particularly liked the train track shots leading to the nice close up at 1:17, and also the fun bit at the very end...but over all a lot of detail and very well made.

Wow, that's a GREAT bit of machinima! There's so much I like about it:

* well thought out scene transitions
* nice simple camera work (well it "looks" simple) just mean the camera is not all over the place...
* lots of good close-ups of the actors (one of the best things about this piece)
* little funny bits like the weight lifter and the steampunk hat
* clever shots like looking through the curled bit of wood as
the actor enters the scene
* the first rain scene really has atmosphere
* the dance at the end with the holy umbrella is excellent!

And who wouldn't say that's one catchy tune.
