I used to be able to capture great video on my Macs using nothing but the built in SL capture mode and QT.
Now I crash everytime. This happens with all Macs, even a new powerbook and several 2 year old G5s.
Is anyone successfuly capturing with a Mac?
Could you share your settings and or software you are using? Or point me to a web page forum, etc?
I wonder why it worked so well 5 months ago and now it doesn't. They only difference I see is a few new versions of SL and maybe a QT update.
Thank you in advance. -KD

I've never had great success with the SL capture tool and haven't used it for a couple of years. It will do video - sometimes - but not sound, for me, and is very choppy and slow.
I use SnapzProX personally, which is fantastic, working in real time and not slowing me down at all with all sorts of options for formatting the final output, and is also useful for other purposes (making demonstration videos, recording streaming video, taking proper snapshots of precisely what is on the screen and so on). It _is_ reasonably expensive at $69, but if you are going to use the thing regularly that isn't so much.
