Alt-Zoom's Machinina Kit is in the screening room at Lukanida. It's a free scripted camera. Torley has another great free scripted camera on her land. There are various cameras to buy, and many free scripts that you can use that work great. Of course, you don't need them. You just need something to record video, like Fraps or even Taksi. Remember to suppress the UI with cntrl-alt-1.

Thanks for your information.
Can you give me a pointer to some of the free scripts you mention? The reason I am thinking of the scripted camera is that I am looking for some panning and rotation sequences that I would like to be smooth. Looks like the alt-zoom will allow that. Also I saw a posting for a HUD at 1500L. I guess that's the high end. Any more suggestions would be helpful |

I didn't look very hard, but here's 2:

I was experimenting with Flight Path on the city parts (not the flying) of this little thing:
Flight Don't expect much - heh - just trying it out. _____________________

I logged and got the alt-zoom kit from Lukanida. Also the cameras from Torley Linden as well as some nice textures. Gift wrap paper!
Lots of fun ahead. Thanks everyone for your suggestions. |

When you're ready to upgrade, Filming Path is a lot easier to use than Alt-zoom, but then its not free either. I periodically do demonstrations of Filming Path. You should join the Machinimatographer group inworld too.
