When I first openned the movie and began watching, I thought, oh no, another collage of shots from all over SL... I must say, this one is different, it flowed, seemed to have purpose and is well edited/directed.  What editing programme do you use?

TY for your kind words! I use Final Cut Express, with iShowU, and round it off with a dose of Visualhub. Setup is a 4gig iMac, space nav, and a weird taste in music

Well weird or not, the music was a great match for the movie, or vice versa.
Did you plan the movie around the music, or the other way round?

Good question! The music has been screaming Second Life at me for some time. The music was definitely first, but the more I started to think about it, the more the angle of the quasi story arrived. I have to admit I also wanted to get some practice in doing quick cuts in time to a definite rhythm.
If you want to see the film the music was made for .. it's Powaqattsi - which will explain some of the shots from the vid.
