I did a short Search, that did'nt turn up the answer ta my question. Can anybody tell me a great freeware program for video editing? or even just; who YOU, personally, use for editing and post-prodution?

I just wanna make some simple Machinima for fun. I would like to do a paroday of 80's action movies, and a short commercial for a friends' art gallery

There are many machima creators in SL. We (WBA Advertising) carryout our own film making, editing, production, hosting and streaming on our own servers, including supplying our own bespoke hardware/software in game.

If you are looking for a 'feebie' editing programme and have XP, try.. using moviemaker that comes with the OS, although limited, you can get some results from it. If you are serious about machima in sl and want to offer a professional service, it's time to reach for the credit card. You can get by on a shoe string, but why stunt your creativity?

Xio, get the trial version of FRAPS to capture your video.

VirtualDub is completely free and works with FRAPS video.

There's a 30 day trial of Sony Vegas.

$20-$30 for Quicktime Pro, you can do basic edits with this but you also get *excellent* video compression.

erm... Bittorrent...
