Where has the Record Movie to Disk Gone in V 1.2?

Why was it removed, can we still use access it somewhere else?

Just download Fraps, its free, the inclient recorder never worked well anyway.

hey, thanks :)

yeh, it never seemd to grab anything but uncompressed frames and you need a very fast computer and hard drive, can Fraps maintain steady capture> like 30 fps? or 15 fps?

I use Fraps at full frame 30 fps (nominal). I seldom have 30 FPS available from SL, so fraps is not a rate limiter. Fraps does not do much comression, but I don't care. I take it over the Windows Movie Maker to edit and compress -- the version that comes with Vista gives good comprssion and good quality results.
