Hi,
I have 12 pictures of a flower opening from a bud to a full bloom, and I want to animate these 12 pics into a short movie (around 10-15 secs), with each pic morphing into the next.
Can anyone suggest some software (preferably free if there is such thing) to do this?

Try this link: http://www.tucows.com/article/2058It suggests Windows MovieMaker and appears to tell how.

Thanks Suezanne, I had looked at time-lapse, but it looks very jerky. What I really need is software that will actually morph between each photo, giving a much more fluid look to the overall anim. Rock

Here's a review of a freeware program called WinMorph: http://freemedia.realgage.com/winmorph-v301-morph-freeware.htmland the homepage of one called Sqirlz: http://www.xiberpix.net/SqirlzMorph.htmlI'm not familiar with either of those. There used to be a free morphing program from Microsoft, but it's been years, and I don't know where you'd find it.

WinMorph should do you well. Simple to use, cheap (free) and gives good results. If the pictures are all taken from the exact same camera position, you could try using overlapping transitions, making the overlap a few seconds each, should give good results.
