In order to shoot some video footage in SL I need to hide my GUI. It seems that this can be achieved with the the shortcut CTRL-ALT-F1. I tried it in every possible combination, but nothing happens. Dutch/European keyboard settings perhaps? Is there anybody who can help me with this?

To shoot movies using full window method is at best wasteful, unless you actually want to show the menu's during the movie. Try using Fraps, or my favourite HyperCam. Fraps allows you to shoot a region (albiet a fixed region of, whereas in HyperCam, you can use your own region size), that captures the elements of interest.

Take that raw footage into your editing programme and crop for resolution and elements of interest. The vast majority of editing programmes will allow you to do this, although some do not. Those are not true editing programmes, but cutting programmes that allow you to take serveral sequences and put them in order (you get what you pay for). If you use a 'cutting' programme, then you will find HyperCam of great use to you as you can set the movie window, negating the crop function to a large degree.

Using the 'select region' of HyperCam also negates wasting both resources in grabbing the footage, and storage space on your system, it will also increase your resolution.
