My first take

Finally took the plunge and cracked open a video editing package and spent a few hours this weekend making some avs, filming a few scenes, and try to make sense of it all in the video edit application.

Much fun! Nothing actually *happens* in this short vid (i.e. don't expect a plot lol) but it was a fun learning exercise. These tools are nearly as hard as I thought they might be.

for the scene with the guy flying out of the window, I took it in two shots, one shot of window with flames, and one with the guy, and then overlayed the two. This is only because I wanted to see how much I could do solo... would be easier to do it in one take and have a friend shoot off flames lol.
