Hi All,

I am going to be doing a speed build of a very large building. I would like to set something up to take an image every 30-60 seconds from a couple of set points around the build, so that after i can splice it together and show the whole thing going up. I cannot be worrying about the images while i am building, and finding somebody skilled to do it and to hang out faithfully for the whole thing is troublesome. Are there any tools that i can use to take these photos for me in the backend without me having to worry about it? Thanks in advance.

StarSong

ps. and if not, but there is somebody who might like to help me out with the timelapse the old fashioned way let me know! :-)

Fraps will do screen capture every X seconds

Where x is a parameter you enter. This will make jpgs. You can make them into a video in (for example) Windows Movie Maker.

You could login an alt and use that to grab the stills using a timer capture (such as Fraps, or my own favourite, HyperCam). Just use the -multiple switch on the end of the desktop icon target.
