Hi all...
the SL movie capture feature is *dog* slow... frame rates plummet below normal use rates...
Would going to 3rd party screen capture software be better?
Recommendations?
(free is better... but $ is ok)

I know of only one and its called FRAPS, there may be more though. I don't know how good it is though.

FRAPS is a great program. The best video captuer software I've found for 3D games and such. I have tested a few other programs. One free one that works with SL is called Taksi. You can find it at SourceForge. It doesn't seem to be as efficient as FRAPS, but could produce some good results with a little experimentation.
