I've finished my first machinima, which stars all of the seaplanes i currently build! http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WdmbybUQGrg&fmt=6Since it was my first time doing this is recorded the video with fraps at full screen @ 1280x976... it really ate up my HDD and killed the framerate. Next time i'll be recording at a lower resolution, will also use CTRL+ALT+F1 to get rid of the SL interface.

Excellent! And the UI was barely noticible.

Wow, that is some of the most professional machinima I've seen created in SL... excellent. The filming, production, editing, attention to lighting, direction, all first class. You do justice to your aeroplane builds as well, if that doesn't sell them, nothing will. Thank you for sharing If you need any assistance getting that footage into SL and onto the big screen, IM me ingame. It deserves to be seen.

Mifune, I'm so glad you have done this. Your sim is one of our all time favorites and your planes are really superb.
I hope this brings you the attention you richly deserve.

Thank you for the kind input guys.. and glad you are liking the planes Dnali, they are very near and dear to me ^^
It had been a long time since i had done any editing (last time was like 8 years ago with the original Final Cut), and I was really pleased with the results of SL machinima, with the shooting and editing process taking about 4 days.
I'm pretty excited about editing video again and want to try new projects and experiment a little more with virtual film using SL. Pretty much jibs and other stabilizing rigs can all be reproduced on the fly with some simple scripts, dynamic lighting too. Are there any forums or message boards dedicated solely to machinima in SL or is this the primary one?
