My gamepad is an inexpensive Flash Fire. It is fairly generic gamepad and below are the current settings I'm using. This is exactly what my gamepad looks like, except mine has a different name on it. The mode needs to be set to Analog to use both sticks. With these settings: Left stick: Push forward = move forward Pull back = move back Push to the left = go up Push to the right = go down Right stick: Push forward = turn left in a circle Pull back = turn right in a circle Push to the left = stride left Push to the right = stride right - Infrared

Agreed the analog sticks are great for movement. True you dont get all 6 axis but you can always cut footage into sections unless you really need something a certain way, but there is alot of customization within the flycam settings.
This allows 4 axis of movement at a time and is good for most circumstances (you can always adjust the axis setting for the type of movement or camera footage you require).
If you can afford a navigator i hear its a good choice for having all 6 axis available at any moment, otherwise you cant go wrong with a good analog pad.
