Apologies if I'm posting in the wrong forum, but I don't see one for creating audio content. Are there specific guidelines or tips in creating WAV sound files, optimized for SL? I create my content in GoldWave as 44.1 Hz, but the volume is greatly reduced after uploading to SL. Am I missing something here? Does SL automatically adjust the volume during upload?

I upload .wav files. i get the best results by setting te volume near max (below clipping). then I advust volume in the playing function. You may want to check the way your are playing the sound as you can get reduced volume if you are not close to the poin of play. TM |
