Hi, can any video experts point me in the direction of any free software that can shrink a 300MB avi file to something much more reasonable? The video is only 60 seconds long. Thank you!

The video is currently hosted here:[link removed]

If someone can shrink this video and send me a smaller one I will give you a free copy of this dance, BUT please contact me first so that there are not a thousand people giving smaller copies of the video :) ok! Thanks!

You might try using a program called PSP Video 9 to convert the file to a morew web-friendly size. This is a free program that was created to help convert videos for the Sony PSP, but it is very useful for other tasks too.

I tried to download your video from FileFront but the link doesn't seem to work for me.

Thank you both, but I think this is solved. A video genius Leffard Lasard stayed up all night helping me do this. I would have posted earlier but I ended up just passing out. I can't believe how much work you video makers have to do.

From a 3 hour download to 30 seconds (for cable users)
Here is a the new video

OK, more sleepy time. :)

You exaggerate here a bit Vicky. I gave you only a few tips on how to do a video reencoding.
I would rather mention the chat afterwards...

Leffard.
