I saw this thread:
/278/95/98253/1.html

and although you cannot do this in SL at this time, you CAN do it without having create it frame by frame the old fashioned way. Check out this 5 second video of me introducing myself to you. If anyone else cares to post their introduction, please do so!

Link: Hello, my name is...
or Download the WMV file

Cheers,
Mad

P.S.: Sorry if it looks a little blurry. I had to get the size small so it would load fast. LOL

Dunno if I have something disabled. Explorer activex is enabled here. Have to search why it isn't working. Well, I found it, windows media player plugin messed up by some reason. Anyway, thanks for checking, works here very well.

Looks and sounds pretty good. Unfortunately this won't be possible directly in sl, as audio and video synchronisation is very hard to achieve.

I tried a rough post-production lip-sync test using MorphAge software, (Mac).

I made a fool of myself by videoing my singing; traced the mouth movement keyframes, and applied the result to a still image taken in SL. The result could be convincing with a little time. ATM you can preview it here.
