I used to use unreal tournament for making movies back when i played in that league..i was wondering is there a program that captures screenshots instead of video..

i used to use a program called unreal movie maker and it would capture each screenshot of movment which made very smooth editing because you could go to each image of a scene and pull pieces out our add without really noticing any difference in the change of flow..

the quality was very good with a high compression so files were really easy to make pretty small and keep a lot of the quality..plus i am really at home with doing it that way..i know there is fraps and other screen capturing tools that make a video and you work with raw file..i want to see if i can find something that is before it is made to video..i just find it better for me in premire to work with also..

i would be grateful if someone could lead me to something like this..
thank you =)

FRAPS also makes stills

Fraps makes stills -- jpegs. as easily as it makes videos. Just a different function key. There is a free version of Fraps you can use to see if it suits you. The registered version costs abut $40, I think

You can grab screenshots directly using the client function. If you want hi-rez screen shots, use the Advanced menu (Ctrl+Alt+D to bring it up, if not already there) and check the 'Hi-Rez' function, then in the File Menu, click the Take screenshot, or Screenshot to Disc to grab them.
