Hi Ruben, good to see you have dipped your toes into making machinima

.
The content of the movie fitted the song well, however I would say, try not to be too narratively visual to the song. To expand that... I felt like the scenes were being dictated to by the song, as opposed to being a compliment to it. You can create scenes that work alongside of the song, giving a greater depth of perspectives in media content.
The song says, 'spots of red' and you show them, it says 'broken glass' and you immediately show it, same with seasons, therefore the movie in a single layer.
Allow the viewer to listen to the song and discover those elelments in the movie as it flows through at a slower pace, which fits the tempo of the song.
May I suggest that you explore the following:
Put the scenes into a flowing, slow paced set of coherient scenes, with the music turned off while you edit. Use faded in shots, then use pan/zoom to move into the scenes. Create a start, middle and end. Once done, turn on the music again and watch it.
As a leader, show a scene of the broken glass with the rain, then later, go back to that scene using the snow, again for spring and summer, creating 4 unique scenes in equal spacing through the movie.
The viewer will be listening to the song as the movie plays, by the end scene they will have peiced together all the elements and be satisfied that they have received and understood the whole content, they don't need to feel that 20% of the way into the movie, otherwise they will become bored/distracted. Consider this concept in a book and that's only using one media, the reader would not want to know the end in the first chapter.
Overall, its an excellent start and I look forward to seeing more examples of your work on the forums and ingame.
