So I was thinking- i want to try to recreate a silhouette in Second Life because that's really hard to do otherwise. (The shot will be moving--- want to avoid messing with green screens too much although I probably will anyway).
What's the easiest way to make an avatar pitch black head to toe? I mean-is there a pitch black skin? Is there a setting you can do?

Just make a totally black graphic and upload it. Then load that texture into the tattoo layers and the eyes. I have blue and pink avatars for my models, and this is how I did it.
