Take5 Festival Submission Deadline July 16th

I'd like to thank everyone for making June's festival such a success. We had 23 people submitting 25 films! Not only that, but we filled the sim with 60 people watching them last night. I am so pleased with the way it turned out and I'm really glad for your support. This month, we have a goal of 30 people submitting, so I'm getting started a bit early.

July's Festival will take place on Wednesday, July 19th, but the submission deadline is Sunday, July 16th, at 11:59pm SL time. For more on Alt-Zoom Studios or the Take5 Machinima Festival, please visit http://www.alt-zoom.com/take5/.

What is the theme?

[B]The theme is "Bird's Eye View"[/B] - but that's just there to get your imagination pumping. If you already have an idea that doesn't play well with the theme, we don't care! We just want to make this as easy as possible.

What are the rules?

Films should be shorts - no longer than about 10 minutes.

Due to the size of the festival now, you can only submit one film per person.

[b]Films must be submitted by 11:59pm Pacific(SL) time, Sunday, July 16th[/b] to [b][email]take5@alt-zoom.com[/email][/b] or uploaded to [b]Rapid Upload[/b] or [B]Blip.tv[/B] to be made available for download.

BuhBuhCuh Fairchild, and anyone else who judges will not be eligible for any prizes, but they can submit a film.

Films with illegal or broadly offensive elements will not be eligible for screening or prizes.

What are the prizes?

$L10,000 for Best Movie

$L5,000 for Best Cinematography

$L5,000 for Best Story

$L5,000 for Best Editing

$L5,000 for Technical Accomplishment

Please note that I checked with BuhBuhCuh Fairchild and you can submit as many films as you want, but he will choose the best one to air at his discretion. If you submit more than one, only one will actually be played at the festival.
