I'm developing a better workflow now and also working with different
aspect ratios. In this case 1:2.22.

The workflow is: capture with Fraps in a minimized window that reflects
the aspect ratio I want. Bring the clips into Premiere Pro v2.0. Edit. Then
Export via the DebugMode Frameserver to VirtualDub which I use to
encode and apply filters to the source video.
