Perhaps it is just me and my MacBook Pro but CTRL-ALT-1 no longer hides the GUI elements for me - can't make machinima anymore :(

Anybody else having this issue?

Ctrl-Alt-1 Not working

I have the same problem with my pc. I resolved it opening the debug mode (Ctrl-Alt-D) and then Ctrl-Alt-F1.

Yeah I found this out unfortunately the day I needed to broadcast live. I found someone in the Resident Answers forum who has the old pre-voice version for download, but since there is a solution now, I may go back to the voice version

These were changed because some of the old combos accidentally triggered on European keyboards when typing "{[]}". So I guess they fixed it on two ends, one changing the shortcuts and 2nd changing that shortcuts from hidden menus don't trigger at all (if a menu isn't there, it should not have a shortcut).

Still having problems

I've tried this but with no success. I still can't get control-alt-1 to work to hide the UI and I still can't record. The debugger mentioned initially seemed to work by bringing up the "save as avi" menu but it still didn't record (using control-shift-A or via the menu) and it failed to bring up the compression option AND the hide UI didn't work. Can someone please HELP!!?? I'm on a pc not a mac.

They did tell us, it was changed in the voice viewer.

Changes:
* Shortcut keys for menu items in the Client & Server menus are now disabled if the menus are hidden.

For mac its CTRL+ALT+FN+ F1 key .. *the FN key makes it so you can access the F1 key for SL.

If you have the Client/Server menu up and have clicked CTRL+ALT+F1 and it still doesnt work, click F Lock first before CTRL+ALT+F1 and it should work for you :)
