Hello,

I recently made a mini commercial for a friend and saved it as an mpeg4 so that it can be played in world. I am using Pinnacle Studio 10.

After uploading, I realized the extension it gave it was friendlyskyz.mp4 and I can't even get it to play in my browser.

Did I output this in the wrong format?

The link is http://www.sl-connection.com/ads/friendlyskyz.mp4

Thanks for your help!

From Safari on Mac OS X tiger, it loads into safari as text and does not invoke a plug in. If I right click on it and save to my desktop, it comes down as .mp4.txt -- as a text file. Once I remove the .txt, it plays fine on my machine.

perhaps mime settings on your server are not quite right?

I use iMovie to convert to mp4 format, you might want to try using that if you're on a mac.

Hope this helps,

Troy

PS. I notice this quite a bit in machinemas but since yours is an advertisement I would recommend using a non-copyrighted soundtrack. You can download free ones from the internet or license some for real good prices online. It is worth the money.
