Great movie Kitty :)

I loaded WindLight client up last night and looked in awe at the scenes that I was presented with. It almost made me want to go and reshoot a lot of my previous movies. Prior to this, I would take a long time lighting a scene and adding lighting/colour balance, masks etc to the movies in order to make them more realistic. I even made a 40mtr diameter moon with a realistic texture, along with lighting ingame and during post production to make it more useable, rather than the SL moon.

I was curous, looking at the sun setting, and the water ripples, how did you manipulate the sun in realtime? Are you 'grabbing the sun' and dragging it about?

Nope, on the setting menu there is a day cycle editor, where you can make the day run as quick or as slow as you like. I think I was doing a day cycle in 30 seconds for that vid.

Yes I found that before, but it only works if you have permissions on the land. Unless something is borked?... nahh surely not?

Made a movie wich includes some windlight elements... as it was captured between client updates. http://www.wba-advertising.com/shengrila/duchess.html it has 2 versions, one for SL and the other for those with a bit wider broadband. Once polished and complete, its going to be put forward for RL broadcasting, so I'm told.

Oh and the streaming code works on both IE and Firefox..
