From Feb to July 2009, the Cybernetic Art Research Project (CARP) performed our adaptation of Fritz Lang's 1927 classic 'Metropolis' in Second Life.

Today we are pleased to release our machinima of the performance.

To watch individual chapters (eleven in total): http://diabolus.ning.com/forum/topics/metropolis-machinima

To watch as a single playlist: http://diabolus.ning.com/forum/topics/metropolis-machinima-single

Thanks.

It's clear to see the sheer amount of work that has gone into this series.. some even unseen but by the eye of another director.
The very clever use of animated textures to show multiple workers in Chapter One... purely, there is no other way you would do that.. but you are the first to do it.

One small observation.. strickly personal taste.. I would have had the worker scenes in Chapter One in greyscale, to emphasise their mundane existance. Even in colour it still worked.

Well done :)
