Good WinXP Screencap Software?

I've used FRAPS, it's alright.. I've used Camtasia Studio, which in my opinion was lovely, but I can't afford it and my trial ran out...

What I'm looking for a screencapture program that works with WinXP, can do good-quality video, doesn't need to be able to do video editing (Camtasia had an awesome array of features tho), and does NOT necessarily need to be compatible with SL (Though seems like it would/should be anyway). I'll be using it mainly for capturing video of various 3d modeling software for sculpties, and if it works with SL then some things in SL as well.

I simply can't find any place where I can learn of some free/cheap programs that are any good.

I've never tried this program, but I stumbled on it the other day. CamStudio. It is free and open source.
