How does one actually go about creating a movie? There's a start/stop video thing in the file menu of SL, but I certainly can't seem to get it to do anything. Am I missing something?
A lot of stuff in the FAQs and wikis on this site are missing, it seems. x.x So much I just don't know how to do...

I am still learning but I just read the various resources available like here:
http://secondlife.com/showcase/machinima.php and here: http://www.machinima.com/article.php?article=447 Then I did some searches on machinima. Oh there is another to read here: http://www.alt-zoom.com/classroom/ I am sure alot of people could answer your question better  But in the machinima article it said fraps was good to use so I am using it. And also windows movie maker to put it together which is a snap to use. So do some searches and tinker around. I never figured out the in world video either. But I am still learning too so hopefully some others will come here with some help too. |
