I just got a set up to record SL, but am having a few issues. I realize that there are cameras you can buy in world to make this easier, but I have yet to figure out how to keep the mouse cursor from being in recorded scenes. I've seen other people's videos without mouse cursors, so I assume there's a way to not get it in the recording.
IDK if this has any weight on it, but I am recording witha recording devise that is hooked into my computer. It records whatever I have up on the screen.

Thanks in advance.

Most people either use the internal recording software in SL or use an app like fraps.

You could set a transparent cursor. But that would be hard to live with.

You can suppress the SL UI with cntrl-alt-1. If you do that there's no cursor.

In Fraps there's a No Cursor tickbox in the Movie tab.

When I record with fraps, I get about 5 FPS. With my device I get much better results.

I will try what you suggested though...see if I can figure it otu
