Here are two videos i have done of New Babbage, one of my favourate places in SL. I love it because it gives me the chance to do something very different from what else is going on in SL. There is no clean, white funky designer buildings in Babbage, just good old dirty buildings and steam. The first video is a showcase of the Town and the colaberation of its residents on creating such a wonderfully dark yet elegant place pushing the visual styles of SL. The second video Shows the wonderfull community spirit that brings New Babbage to life in Roleplay, Stories and events that give the place a history like no other. And without the community spirits in Second Life, there would be no reason to be in these virtual worlds. Please Enjoy... http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Jlu5QmMWkpYhttp://www.youtube.com/watch?v=YzC6cxJ63hY

Thanks!
I crossposted your post to the italian SL web forum - we recently started a thread about Steampunk, and New Babbage is one of its most awesome examples. Please let me know if you're not comfortable with this so I will remove it: http://www.secondlifeitalia.com/community/viewtopic.php?p=167863#167863

Truly wonderful cinematography. New Babbage is absolutely one of my favourite sims, and you captured its spirit perfectly.

What happened to it?

From: Loki Eliot There is no clean, white funky designer buildings in Babbage, just good old dirty buildings and steam. I think that Babbage looked much better when I visited it a month or two back in the summer. I dropped by just last week and was thoroughly disappointed to note that someone has committed a neatness.

Wow! and Bravo! I learned more from watching those two videos than I have from seeing dozens of other machinima.
I'm awestruck.

Very nice! Philip Glass is a good choice for the music.
